Sparta Books & Pay LLC ("Sparta Books & Pay", "we", "us") provides bookkeeping services to small businesses. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

We collect contact details you give us, such as your name, business name, email address, phone number, and mailing address. When you authorize us to connect your QuickBooks Online company, we access the accounting data in that company that we need to do our work, such as the chart of accounts, customers, vendors, invoices, bills, payments, and financial reports.

How we use it

We use this information only to provide bookkeeping, reconciliation, reporting, and related services to you, to communicate with you, and to meet our legal and tax obligations. We do not use your accounting data for advertising, and we do not sell it.

How we share it

We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only with service providers that help us deliver our services (for example, hosting and email providers), who may use it only for that purpose, and where the law requires it.

Where it is stored and how we protect it

Client data is stored on servers in the United States. We limit access to authorized personnel, use encrypted connections, keep backups encrypted, and do not store bank logins or card numbers in our own tools.

Your choices

You can disconnect our access to your QuickBooks company at any time from your QuickBooks account settings, or by asking us in writing. You may ask us to correct or delete the information we hold about you, subject to records we must keep by law. When our engagement ends, we stop accessing your data and delete or return it within a reasonable period.

We may update this policy and will post the new date at the top of this page.
